Melinda Harrell Johnson
Melinda, 36, also a National Merit Scholar, is a 1998 graduate of Georgetown University where she was the recipient of an Air Force ROTC scholarship and studied Economics. She served four years in the U.S. Air Force, where she rose to the rank of Captain. During her service to our country, Melinda served 15 months as the Finance Officer at the U. S. Embassy in Muscat, Oman in the Middle East. She now lives in Woodbridge, Va with her husband, Air Force Lt Col. Gary Johnson, who is stationed at the Pentagon. They have three children, Aaron Hughes, born November 17, 2004, and Tyler James, born September 21, 2006, and Nicholas born November 28, 2009.
