Gayle has worked closely with former Speaker Newt Gingrich and the Center for Health Transformation to create a 21st century healthcare system in Florida. As an authority on healthcare issues she has worked to increase access to our healthcare system while reducing costs.

As a leader in Health Information Technology she was selected by the National Governor’s Association to sit on the national State Alliance for e-Health. She has worked to promote electronic health records and passed legislation that would reduce healthcare errors through the use of electronic prescriptions.

Gayle worked closely with Governor Jeb Bush to reform the Medicaid system and establish a system that improves access for patients, especially to specialists, promotes individual responsibility and stabilizes the ever increasing costs of Medicaid.

Gayle has worked closely with the Agency for Healthcare Administration to promote transparency in our healthcare system so that patients can compare quality and costs.
